GCL Tyre Insurance Terms and Conditions
All tyres on new vehicles sold by Gary Cockram Limited and all tyres supplied and fitted by Gary Cockram Limited will be covered by GCL Tyre Insurance. This entitles customers to free Puncture Repairs, complementary Tyre Pressure Checks and free Tyre Replacement if the tyre is damaged beyond repair in the first 15,000km or 12 months of the life of the tyre, whichever comes first.
Thereafter, the insurance will cover a percentage of the cost based on the percentage of tread remaining on the tyre. The insurance only applies where the tyre has been damaged under normal driving conditions and is still a legal tyre. The insurance does not apply if:
1. There is evidence of abuse
2. Damage due to underinflation
3. The tyre has failed due to general wear and tear, including incorrect wheel alignment
4. Vandalism or willful damage
5. The tyre is damaged due to a vehicle accident
To keep the insurance valid, the vehicle must be serviced by Gary Cockram Limited in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and the identifying GCL Tyre and Wheel sticker must be present on the vehicle.
All claims must be carried out by Gary Cockram Limited. If the tyre is no longer available, an equivalent replacement of the same quality will be provided.
