Devon Harding is an integral part of the Gary Cockram team in Christchurch. Passionate about helping people in every way, Devon works to assist customers from the moment they decide to purchase a vehicle, to the moment they finally slide into the driver’s seat for the first time.

One of Devon’s biggest drivers is providing customers an authentic experience. With an emphasis on friendliness and openness, Devon works hard to make sure each customer feels at home from the first moment they walk through the dealership doors. Family values are very important to Devon, which is why he strives to create an environment where customers can feel comfortable and at ease, giving them the freedom to explore their potential opportunities in a relaxed, easy way.

The biggest motivator for Devon is seeing the smile on his customer’s faces when they see their new car for the first time. For him, it’s also very rewarding at the start of the customer journey, being able to introduce customers to all the possibilities in front of them, and being there to help them find their perfect vehicle.

Outside of work, Devon is the President of the Rugby League Club, where he assists with sports organisation and is involved with the local teams. He also volunteers for the St. Johns Youth Program, where he is an Assistant Divisional Manager looking after 40-50 cadets. A true all-rounder, Devon is a high achiever with various awards under his belt, including the Dean Scholar award from Christchurch Boys.
