The all-new Tucson Hybrid range brings you a new version of an already outstanding SUV. The Hybrid powertrain gives you electric when you want it, and petrol power when you need it, thanks to a 1.6L turbocharged engine.

The Plug-in Hybrid model adds a larger battery & electric motor allowing you to plug in and charge the battery enabling travel on pure electric power for up to 50 kms.

Performance

2.0L Petrol MPi engine

This powerful two-wheel-drive (2WD) engine produces 115 kW of power at 6,200 RPM and 192 Nm of torque at 4,500 RPM, providing exciting performance while being economical at the same time.

Paired with this is a smooth 6-speed automatic transmission with sportshift functionality allowing you to take control of your drive.

1.6L Petrol T-GDi engine with available HTRAC All-Wheel-Drive (AWD)

For performance that’s more exhilarating, this turbo engine generates 132 kW of power at 5,500 RPM and 265 Nm of torque at 1,500 – 4,500 RPM.

Available HTRAC All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) helps it to maintain a smooth ride and exceptional handling even on tougher road conditions whilst the 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) puts the power down efficiently and quickly.

1.6L Diesel CRDi engine with HTRAC All-Wheel-Drive (AWD)

A powerful diesel engine offers performance with economy, and has the advantage of HTRAC AWD for better handling on loose, rough or slippery surfaces.

This 1.6 litre diesel produces 100 kW of power at 4,000 RPM and 320 Nm of torque at 1,750 – 2,750 RPM and is paired with a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). This combination enables phenomenal fuel efficiency of only 5.2L per 100km.

Safety

Blind-spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA)

BCA uses rear corner radar to monitor both of your blind spots. If a vehicle is detected in the blind spot while the turn signal is flashing, BCA will automatically apply differential braking during your attempted lane change thus helping you avoid an unsafe lane change and a potential collision.

Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM)

When the turn signals are activated, the rear-side image of the corresponding direction is displayed in the cluster.

Smart Cruise Control (SCC)

SCC maintains the set speed while keeping a set distance away from the vehicle ahead without ever requiring any additional inputs from the driver.
