The automatic 4WD X-Terrain is powered by Isuzu's legendary 3-litre turbo diesel engine which Isuzu Good Bastards across New Zealand have come to love.
With Isuzu's Intelligent Driver Assistance System (IDAS*) as standard in every D-Max including the X-Terrain, the all-new D-Max range has received a 5-star ANCAP safety rating, making it one of the safest vehicles on New Zealand roads. The all-new D-Max brings an entire new level of technology to the range. LS models include a large 9.0" touchscreen satellite navigation system complete with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto phone mirroring capability allowing you to project sat nav directions, play music, make and receive calls and more. For the owner that spends plenty of time on the open road, LS automatic models also include adaptive cruise control which automatically adjusts your speed depending on the vehicle in front of you.

Isuzu 4JJ3 3.0L Engine
The dependable 3.0L 4JJ3 turbo-diesel engine has been given a tickle up and now produces more power and torque. Revisions to the high-pressure injector system, electronically controlled variable geometry turbocharger and engine internals result in an extra 10 kW of power plus another 20 Nm of torque all while maintaining class-leading dependability.

Powerful looking 18" alloy wheels adorn the LS ensuring that your D-Max will stop traffic next time you are in town. These are combined with Highway-Terrain (HT) tyres for solid road-holding in all situations
Side Steps
Durable alloy side steps provide excellent ease of entry and exit into the D-Max LS. These are finished in silver for a dynamic look.

When designing the interior of the all-new D-Max, the engineers were given a directive to use an airplane cockpit as inspiration. This means that control ergonomics, occupant comfort, material quality & durability, and driver visibility are key priorities. The team at Isuzu Utes nailed the brief, once you jump in the all-new D-Max, you will never want to leave.

Sculpted sports seats feature a foldable rear centre armrest. Wide front seat rails provide for large boots/feet to easily slip under the front seat for rear passengers. Entry and exit have been made easier thanks to large door openings. Double sealed doors and an excess of soundproofing make the D-Max a peaceful and relaxing ride.
